#1 · Feb 12, 2018 Blue&me doesn't work on my 2012 giulietta. Have flashing odometer too. Pushing windows button on steering wheel gives nothing, not even a beep. Can still control radio/cd from steering wheel. Brought my tablet out to car to see if it could pick up anything on Bluetooth!
I own a 2011 Alfa Romeo Giulietta and I bloody love it. It's my first car and it's amazing but there's one problem, my drivers side door will not unlock remotely!!! I can put the key in the door and it's grand but the unlocking button on the key opens all but the drivers side! I have read replacing the key battery might fix it.
Then after about 1-2 minutes the until will shut down, turn back on after an audible tick and work again until the bluetooth connects causing the loop. Trying bluetooth media has only worked twice after uconnect software updates installed via the bluetooth connection, however the second was hard to do since the unit would usually shut down
It looks like Blue&Me have, or rather, are about to release version 6.0 for their Blue&Me system. It seems this is a two part update, aimed to 'bring the entire fleet up to date' and incorporates version 5.6 and 5.7. Part 1 of the update is to download a 'configurator' and run USB in your car, this will download a file onto the memory stick
It's easy to find out if you have the same problem, the unit is located behind the dashboard panel that surrounds the radio, simply remove the fascia panel and pull out the blue and me, car still works fine and if it stops the battery drain, you know it's that that's failed.
